Tom Cruise is said to be the new Christ of Scientology, this is according to leader David Miscavige, he quotes as saying “Cruise will spread the word and be worshipped just like Jesus and will spread the word of this new faith all around the world”.

    To me it seems a lot of the celebs these days have got so much money that they can have anything they want so they then go in search of more in life, be it giving money away to looking for a faith.

    Tom Cruise is hardly comparable to Christ. Christ told people to love their neighbours, while Tom Cruise supports a dangerous cult that promotes splitting up families, spying on and attacking its critics, mistreating the mentally ill by denying them proper medical treatment, among many other horrible practices.     Interesting comparison Tom Cruise is an illustrious and highly succesful human identity, while Jesus did not do that well as a human identity, he got the wrong end of the stick as a human unlike Tom Cruise.
