Jo O’Meara Receives Death Threats

Jo O’Meara was meant to have an interview on GMTV but is unable to go ahead with the interview as she is too scared to leave her house after receiving death threats, she seems a shadow of how we all saw her in the Big Brother house Fiona Phillips conducted the interview instead at Jo O’Meara’s house and at first I thought she was putting it on as you could see her rocking back and forth but as the interview went on you could see that she was indeed in some state as she could not fight back the tears Jo also said that she was too scared to now look in the mirror go near the TV and she found it very hard to talk in front of the camera
Fiona asked her “why did you sign up for Big Brother” and she replied “I had to as I was losing my house”
It seems that her career is well and truly over, but let me add just one thing, ok she was very nasty in that house to Shilpa Shetty, ok so it did look racist but to me it was more like just women being bitchy to each other, I do not condone in any way how nasty they was to that beautiful lady but they were just girls being girls and we all know how bitchy they can be

Jo is NOT a racist or a bully. BB’s producers and writers are the ones responsible for that whole thing! They made that artificial condition, then edited the footage to make things look even worse! I am so sorry that money problems drove Jo to going on that awful show! I hope they find whoever sent Jo those death threats, and lock them up for 20 years! I hope Jo will realize that there are some very cruel people in this world, but that there are still good people too, and her devoted fans are waiting for her singing comeback! It doesn’t matter what the haters say! All that matters is family, friends and your loyal fans! Don’t let us down, Jo! Stick with it! You will win out!!
I observed Jo’s behaviour and the others’ and there is no way they are they racist. Jo is lovely girl with a good heart and that could clearly be seen in that house. Jo was merely sticking up for herself in terms of not being treated like crap by Shilpa. This isn’t down to racism, which is a stupid concept anyway, its down to pure banter between house mates and the conditions of the house. I know exactly how Jo feels/felt cos my friend fell out with me over the weekend, i got accused of being racist because i said some things that she took the wrong way, for example the fact that American pool has coloured balls and striped balls and said that she was on colours as she forgot what she was playing. Society has gone mad with regards to racism and i feel like everyone has turned against me cos her stupid misconception. Go Jo and keep strong, thats all i can say, i wish i was there to give her a hug cos i could do with one too and i know how she feels xxxxxx
Hi Amy, i do agree with you that society has gone over the top when it comes to racism. Some things that are just not racist, get taken the wrong way and i feel that things will get a lot worse.

It doesn’t make any sense to me at all
that she had no choice but to take part

Make no mistakes. Jade, Jo and Danielle ONLY changed their behaviour when they realised something wasn’t right outside and presumably warned about the riots by BB.
Furthermore when Davina called to evict Jade confirmed their doubts (Jo: Why no sound ? Jade: I know why). That night Danielle and Jo changed instantly.
If the warning didn’t occur, I am sure Ms. Shetty would have suffered a Lot more.
So please don’t glorify the three. Racists are as much racists for the rest of their living life, just like paedophiles…
Jo O’Meara is certainly NOT a racist or a bully. Anyone who thinks that ought to be shot, because, people who are extreme anti-racists tend to have their judgement clouded by emotivism.
Shilpa Shetty loved the attention; she revelled in it. Shilpa, I hope you’re having a good life at the expense of a talented singer who has more fans than you’d ever truly have.

Poor Jo. I feel so sorry for her. Racism is just about the worst thing she could be accused of in today’s climate. Jo was not aware of how it was seen but BB producers were. In that case, they should have done A LOT more to protect her, and the others. I can’t stand all this ‘Saint Shilpa’ crap. People think she didn’t say anything to Jade becasue she is so good and patient and kind..No, she didn’t say anything because she knew how India would react and wanted Jade and the others to dig a deeper hole for themselves. UNBELIEVABLE! I really love Jo’s voice too. I’m just hoping she can make some more music. If she comes out with a good record, that would reach more people than a sick tv show like Big Brother.
jo is such a talented singer. She should of never gone on that big brother show in the beginning. it has just caused her grief ever since.She should ignore the death threats and believe that God will protect her.besides, it could just be a prank.
Her career isnt over this is just a little mishap shes never had one of theses before she just probley doesnt know how to deal with it thats all. I hear she is considering working with jermaine Jackson from The Jackson 5. That’s good news maybe Jo might make a comeback or not ??
Jo was clearly set up by the producers of CBB and Shilpa Shetty herself. Who was so blind that they couldn’t see Shilpa constantly baiting Jo?
Jumping on her in bed to wake her up, sticjking her hands in Jo’s food, or starting a beef with Jade then saying “Jo, aren’t you going to say something?” as if Jo was the house bouncer or something!
It was all done to promote a 3rd rate Bollywood actress and turn her into an international celebrity! It was a set-up all the way, and Jo was used as a pawn!
No thinking person ever saw Jo do anything even remotely racist, and if Shetty had been English, nothing more would have been said!
And that’s the bottom line!
