Apple Deal with Beatles

Apple Giant has finally reached a deal with the Beatles over the usage of the Apple name. Apple Corp and Apple Inc have been arguing over the use of Apple and its logo for more than 25 years.

Apple Inc, the technology giants will now take full control over the name and logo and licence trademarks back to Apple Corps.

The dispute first started way back in 1980 when the late George Harrison first saw an advert for Apple computers in a magazine.

Apple Inc were victorious in a High Court case in London back in May 2006 giving them rights to the use of the name Apple and its logo on iTunes and also the iPod . It was found that the company had not infringed the companies 1991 agreement.
