Police were called to the Hollywood actors Malibu home where the star was arrested for assault with a deadly weapon and negligent discharge of a firearm at his son.
After five hours being detained, O’Neal was bailed. 65 year old O’Neal’s fame began in the 60’s show Peyton Place. O’Neal’s 42 year old son Griffin was not injured, however a 22 year old female suffered non-gun related injuries.
Griffin is O’Neal’s son form his first marriage to Joanna Moore, and his sister is actress Tatum O’Neal.
