Charlize Theron Being Sued by Swiss Watch Maker

Charlize Theron is being sued for breach of contract by a Swiss watchmaker, Raymond Weil had stated that Charlize Theron had signed a deal which was an endorsement to say that she would only wear Weil watches from October 2005 through December 2006, the deal also allowed for the high end watchmaker to use Theron’s photographs in ads in which she would receive money for this

The problem has arisen because at the same time she had another endorsement for Dior perfume which should be fine but it can clearly be seen wearing a Christian Dior watch in a film festival in March 14, 2006, the watch maker also added that she was prohibited from wearing any sort of jewellery be it for money or charity, but in ad for an AIDS charity she can be seen wearing a necklace

It is not known how much the lawsuit will be for but it could end up being very large as Weil has spent almost $20 million on the advertising campaign for Charlize Theron
