The country singing superstar Keith Urban has filed a lawsuit against a man also named Keith Urban, the man in question is a painter and comes from New Jersey, the reason for the lawsuit is the fact that the man has a website keithurban.com, ok so the guy is a plumber but the singer Keith Urban feels that he is deceiving people who visit his website in which case it violates federal trademark laws.
When you hit the website you will see a message saying you have reached the site of Keith Urban. To those who don’t know, oil painting is one of my hobbies” and then you will see that the website will take you two a gallery of paintings and that is where Urban feels that the other Urban is misleading people and that he is selling his paintings where people would think that they have been painted by the country singer
The lawsuit is not asking for any money only that the website be transferred into the country stars name instead
Keith Urban{singer}get real man! Jump out of rehab and sue a poor working man form Wayne, New Jersey? What’s next? Nothing better to do? Sound to me like you are the one cybersquatting. I heard the Keith Urban of Wayne registered is .com site months before you did. And why wait SEVEN years to bring a law suit? I hope you fall flat on your face pal………..
