April the 17th will see the release of J. R. R. Tolkien’s novel ‘The Children of Hurin’ which completes the ‘Lord of the Rings’ Tolkien’s youngest son Christopher has deciphered and organised his father’s notes to complete the new tale of Middle Earth that was started by J.R.R. in 1918.
The Children of Hurin is set long before the famous The Lord of the Rings, before even the Hobbits appeared. Back when the feared evil enemy was still the fallen Vala, Morgoth, and Sauron was just his lowly lieutenant. This story follows the tale of Hurin, a man who dared to defy the evil Morgoth, and Hurin’s family’s tragic destiny.
