Celebrity Chef Gordon Ramsay is in talks with Von Essen Hotels to create a new rooftop restaurant in a £150,000,000 development at the site of London’s one and only heliport. If Gordon agrees this will be the internationally famous Chef’s tenth restaurant in the capital.
The joint Von Essen and PremiAir venture will be one of the most exclusive venues in London. PremiAir operates a fleet of helicopters and private jets.
Gordon already runs the 3 Michelin star Restaurant Gordon Ramsay, 2 star Pétrus at the Berkeley Hotel, and Gordon Ramsay at Claridge’s.
The proposal for the heliport site is to include a VIP lounge, a reception area, a waiting area and a control room. Recent research has shown an increase in helicopter flights from the heliport of nearly a fifth in recent years.
