Helen Mirren has done it again and one yet another award, she has won the Bafta for best actress for the part she played in the movie The Queen; best actor went to Forest Whitaker.
It was no surprise that Helen was going to win the best actress award as her portrayal of Queen Elizabeth II was just fantastic; a shock award went to Alan Arkin who beat the great Jack Nicholson to the best supporting actor award.
Helen Mirren has now won the Golden Globes and also the Sags and Critics’ Choice awards for The Queen will there be another one coming to her at the Oscars this year, who knows.
