It seems as if Dame Judi Dench will not be able to attend this years Academy Awards. Dench who has been nominated for best actress for her role in the movie “Notes On A Scandal” is sad that she can not attend the Oscars but she will be laid up in her bed as she has got to have an operation done on her knee, she is said to be very sad about her no show but she will no doubt be cheering herself on in bed. She is up against some stiff competition from the likes of Kate Winslet, Meryl Streep, Penelope Cruz and the hot favourite Helen Mirren
