Anthony Wilson Diagnosed with Cancer

Anthony Wilson the man who was behind great bands like Joy Division, New Order and the brilliant Happy Mondays has received terrible news that he has cancer.

Wilson visited his GP and the doctor found that there was something wrong with his right lung, so he had to go to the hospital for tests, once more tests were carried out it was found that he had cancer to his right kidney.

He had surgery at the Manchester Royal Infirmary where surgeons went on to remove the kidney which was found to be riddled with cancer, after the operation he paid tribute to the wonderful treatment that he had received from the NHS nurses
