The eight children of Manuela Gomez Ruiz filed a suit against Michael Jackson on Thursday alleging Jacko and hospital staff obsessed with the celebrities status moved their dying mother out of her deathbed to accommodate Michael Jackson.
The lawsuit claims that Ruiz was treated like cargo and roughly moved from her bed when Jackson arrived with complaints of stomach pains during his molestation trial. Apparently Jackson had demanded two beds when arriving at the Marian Medical Centre in February 2005.
74 year old Ruiz died later that night. The family are alleging Jackson and hospital inflicted emotional stress, elder abuse, false imprisonment, and conspiracy.
A spokesperson for the hospital said “We are confident the care provided to Mrs Ruiz was exceptional.”
