Derek Waring dies at 79

Actor Derek Waring has died of cancer at the age of 79. Waring found fame as Detective Inspector Goss in BBC’s Z-cars. Waring also appeared in Dixon of Dock Green, The Professionals, and The New Avengers, along with a string of film, TV, and theatre credits.
You may not recognise the name, but I’m sure you’ll recognise the face of this very versatile actor.
