Ronnie Ramsay, the master-chef Gordon Ramsay’s younger brother and drug addict is facing up to 10 years in a Bali jail after being caught with heroin.
Gordon is said to be heartbroken at Ronnie’s arrest. Gordon has poured more than £50,000 into a failed effort to help his brother beat the addition over the last 12 months.
Although Bali has extremely hard-line views on drugs, Ronnie was arrested with only enough heroin to be considered for personal use. This will mean he is unlikely to be considered as a drug trafficker, and will escape a potential death sentence.
