Heather Mills McCartney has made her debut on a TV dancing contest in the U.S, where judges on the show have said that she is an inspiration. She is the only contestant to join the show with an artificial leg, as she wanted to show people that people with her kind of disability could overcome anything.
Mills had performed the Foxtrot with dance partner Jonathan Roberts; once heather had finished her routine, she received a standing ovation from a few people in the audience even though Mills had made a mistake towards the end of the routine.
Judges praised Mills for her performance but there was no special treatment, as she was criticised for her tense upper body. They only scored 18 points, which was around middle of the field.
