Most around my age will have heard of St Trinian’s, the classic movies about the miss-adventures of the school for young ladies. The first movie, made back in 1954 starred Alastair Simm, Joyce Grenfell, and cocky wide-boy George Cole.
Well there’s a new adventure about to being shooting at Ealing Studios at the end of March. The new movie will see Rupert Everett in Simm’s former role as school headmistress, and also as her brother. Colin Firth will play an MP, and other cast include Stephen Fry and Russell Brand.
