Amy Winehouse Cracks the US

Amy Winehouse has managed to crack the US by going straight in at number 7 in the US album chart. Her album Back to Black sold over 50,000 copies in only its first week in America.

Winehouse is not the only Brit in the US album charts though, there was a few more but nothing of the success that Amy Winehouse is having. The Fratellis went in at number 48, Billy Rae was at number 15 but has now fallen to number 20 and Lily Allen is not at 33.
