EastEnders Gus suspended from soap

Actor Mohammed George, who plays Gus in EastEnders, has been suspended for two months from the soap for receiving a caution from police for assaulting his girlfriend.
The two-month ban has started with immediate effect following an incident earlier this year, in which he was arrested for suspicion of common assault on his girlfriend Emma Archibald.
As George was cautioned for assault, BBC bosses had no choice but to suspend him

How disgusting is this young actor? He is portrayed as a poetic, kind person. He deserves the sack. He is evil. I hope the producers of Eastenders do more than just suspend him for 2 months. Get rid of him. Most of the actors earn too much anyway. They ought to learn what it is like in the real world. I am totally dismayed and hope the BBC will stop paying licence payers fees on such young thugs as Mo.

Oh get a life, since when have any actors been saints? evil? all he did was assault his girlfriend, assault does not even require touching, just saying something verbally aggressive = assault. I think you’ll find almost every actor in eastenders has had some run in wih the police at one time or another or did something questionable. the same goes for hollyoaks actors. actors are not moral people and have never been moral people. dont be fooled by their on screen prescence

I agree with the only person in this forum with sense…. if you dont know the situation you cannot judge. For all you know she could have the worst girlfriend known to man and possible threw the first punch.
Until you know the facts you are innocent until proven guilty…….. and thats what you would rely on if the shoe was on the other foot.
well i dont believe how anyone can b so nasty, i spent the nite with mo (GUS) last tues and he was the most nicest person i av ever met, he was a gentlemen, if noone believes me i dont care cause its true, i ad the best nite of my life with him and will never forget it EVER !!!!!!!
he is a really nice genuine guy and is like his character in eastenders in some ways , its funny , he is so cute and soooo much beta lookin in person i still cant believe my luck!!
