
Movie director Bob Clark, director of the cult 1980′s movie Porky’s has been killed in a fatal car accident along with his 22 year old son Ariel.
A police spokesperson said the driver of the other vehicle; a 24 year old female was being investigated on suspicion of being under the influence of alcohol and without a driving licence.
Back in the 70′s Clark specialised in thrillers and horror films like Murder by Decree, Breaking point, Black Christmas, and Children Shouldn’t Play With dead things. However, his most notable success is Porky’s and Porky’s II The Next Day, which followed two years later.
Actor Scott Schwartz, who starred as Flick in Clark’s A Christmas Story said he is devastated by his death, and goes on to say, “One of the nicest, sweetest guys that you’d ever want to come in contact with
