
Kurt Vonnegut has died aged 84, the bestselling author famous for work such as, Cat’s Cradle and Slaughter House Five had a history of depression and had tried to commit suicide in the past. The writer whose home is in Manhattan New York died from a fall, which left him with brain injuries.
Born in 1922 and married twice Vonnegut was also a playwright and in later years wrote short stories. His wife photographer Jill Krementz and his seven children survive him.
