TV ventriloquist dies

TV ventriloquist Terry Hall famous for his act with “Lenny the Lion” has died aged 80. Hall had been ill for a long time .He made his TV debut in 1956 and went on to entertain children with his shows such as “Read with Lenny”.

In 1958 he made a guest appearance on the legendary American “Ed Sullivan show,” The Beatles made an early appearance on one of Terry’s shows. Later in life Terry did stage and pantomime performances. Among the stars to pay tribute to Terry Hall was Ken Dodd.
