Bond actor Barry Nelson dies

Actor Barry Nelson has died at the age of 89. Nelson played super spy James Bond in an hour long TV adaptation of Bond’s Casino Royale back in 1954.

In 1940, Nelson signed with movie giants MGM, and appeared in several movies that include A Yank on the Burma Road, and Shadow of the Thin Man.

Nelson’s agent, Francis Delduca said: “He was a very naturalistic, believable actor. He was good at both comedy and the serious stuff.”
