Five Night’s for Eastenders

The popular BBC1 soap Eastenders is set to be screened five nights a week from next year, a representative for Eastenders claimed. Stars such as Barbara Windsor and June Brown are set to see their pay increase also. June signed a new contract recently to continue playing one of the soap’s favourite characters Dot Branning.
The move to screen the show five nights a week is an attempt to up the viewing figures, which have seen a slump recently.
