The final episode of the popular TV programme “life on Mars” had to compete with Champions League football and Manchester United on another channel, which led to a drop in the ratings. Star of the BBC1 show John Simm was said to be furious that the BBC screened the show and it had to compete with football.
The last episode was still watched by over seven million viewers who are still not sure whether Sam Tyler died or not.
