Myers focuses on evil next time

Austin Powers creator Mike Myers has said he definitely wants to make another Austin Powers movie, and might focus it on Doctor Evil’s point of view, and hopefully will get round to it when he completes his latest project The Love Guru.

Myers told SCI FI Wire: “I have figured out that the story will be taken from the point of Doctor Evil. It will be powered from Doctor Evil’s point of view. That will be the first of a trilogy. … I’m just joking! … I haven’t figured it all out. Who knows?”

In the last Powers movie Goldmember, Dr Evil became a good guy and passed on his evil empire to his son.

Myers added: “It takes three and a half to four years for me to do a movie, and it has to be something I’m feeling passionate about at the time, and so I may go into that after The Love Guru.”
