Booth joins Emmerdale

Veteran actor Tony Booth, father of Cherie Blair is to join the cast of TV soap Emmerdale. Booth will play a tramp in the popular soap and will be seen on TV screens in May. Booth has also made appearances in Eastenders and Coronation Street, and married Coronation Street’s Pat Phoenix in 1986 just before she died of cancer.

Liverpool born Booth father of eight daughters began his acting career in the 60s and is best known for his part in” Til Death us do Part” , he also starred in the 70s “Confessions” films alongside Robin Askwith.
