He won’t be back, but T4 is planned

The Terminator franchise has been bought by privately funded company Halcyon, and they plan to make the fourth movie in the Terminator Series. However, Terminator star and current Governor of California, Arnold Schwarzenegger is unlikely to be involved, reported Trade paper Variety.

T4 will be based on a script by T3 writers Michael Ferris and John Brancato. So far the script has been kept under tight wraps, but follows John Conner in his 30’s as he leads the remained of humanity against the machines.

As yet, no director or cast has been secured, but T4 is allotted a summer 2009 release.
