It was reported in April that Whitney Houston had won a court battle against Bobby Brown, giving her sole custody of their 14-year-old daughter Bobbi Kristina. Now it seems that Brown is to dispute this and wants to dismiss this ruling.
Bobby claims that the whole process was rushed and that he did not have any time to gather up any sort of defence. The couple are going through a divorce, which Houston has fast tracked, in order to help her with the custody battle. Brown has said, “If Whitney wants a divorce, so be it. But to deprive me of custody of our only child on a default basis …is unbelievable to me.” He then went on to say, “I believe that I have a wonderful relationship with my daughter Bobbi Kris — a relationship that I would like to see strengthen and grow.”
This new hearing is set for 15th June 2007
