Eastenders follows Corrie and scraps kidnap plot

TV soap Eastenders has followed Coronation Street and dropped their storyline concerning child abduction. Reports claim that there were too many similarities to the recent incident with missing child Madeleine McCann.

Coronation Street ran the story but rewrote some of the more distressing scenes concerning baby Freddie. The Eastenders plot to do with Dawn’s unborn child will be rewritten before it is screened this summer.
