Aussie Big Brother insensitive

A female housemate in the Australian Big Brother house has lost her father to cancer and has not been notified. Emma Cornell has been locked away from the outside world for a month and it was her families and late father’s wish that she should not be informed. The funeral has already taken place.

There was controversy in the 2006 series when two male housemates were removed from the house when they were accused of sexually assaulting a female housemate. Police decided not to prosecute.
