It’s the Fourth of July weekend, and action cop John McClane is once again thrown into the action packed thick of it all! The US infrastructure is attacked shutting down the entire nation; whoever is behind the attack has worked out every possible angle, but hasn’t thought of John McClane!
McClane is again at loggerheads with teenage daughter Lucy, and he’s been handed the detail of bringing in Mike Farrell a young hacker for questioning by the FBI. With chaos erupting all around him, McClane uses Farrell to understand the problem with the collapsing infrastructure, and goes in search of the figure behind the problem Thomas Gabriel who manages to stay ahead of McClane, but not forever!
