
In the late 1930’s and fresh out of Yale University, Tod Hackett’s dream is to make it as an art director in Hollywood. However, he increasingly finds himself distracted by his new neighbour Faye. Faye is a wood-be starlet with designs of her own. Tod is drawn deeper and deeper into the personal lives of the studio bosses and industry workers, and finally becomes desperate to know if Faye is capable of real love.
