Ralph Tanner portrays himself as a worldly chap, but in reality he is an inexperienced individual who is a constant liar. Tanner’s brashness pulls in timid Brian who he meets at an airport whilst awaiting the same flight to Spain. Brian and Ralph seem to get along, and they both hope to make substantial amorous conquests while in Spain, but inevitably they both fail miserably.
