So many rumours have done the rounds on the internet about the new Star trek movie, however thanks to Screenrant they will now squash rumours and give us some new details of the movie. The rumoured $200 million price tag is in fact $160 million, and the movie is rated at PG-13.
Also we have now found out how J.J. Abrams got the job of directing the movie, apparently Steven Spielberg was given the script to read, and he managed to convince Abrams to do the movie. Leonard Nimoy has also added his little bit about the new Star trek movie, saying it would have been damaging to the story to put Shatner in the film.” Paramount have pushed the film back as they would like it to be a summer blockbuster.
