Beyonce and Jay-Z confirm their wedding

At last Beyonce and Jay-Z have confirmed that they are married by filing their marriage licence with the authorities in New York. Donna Conkling who is a clerk in the suburb of Scarsdale has said that the licence had been received by their offices, and she confirmed that the licence had been signed by the official conducting the ceremony.

Their wedding took place at Jay-Z’s apartment on 4th April 2008 and was attended by Kelly Rowland, Gwyneth Paltrow Michelle Williams. A white tent was set up on the roof of Jay-Z’s apartment.

In other news Jay-Z has caused quite a stir in the lead up to the Glastonbury festival after he has been named the headliner, and has been blamed for the low ticket sales this year. Do you think that a Hip Hop star should be headlining this festival?

Jay-Z is also headlining the O2 Festival in Hyde Park in July and is also planning a UK tour to promote his last album American Gangster.
