One night when I was round my cousin’s house he forced me to watch Aliens Vs Predator even though I have never been a fan of these movies. Well I was shocked that I actually enjoyed the movie, but one criticism was the lack of gore however; Aliens Vs Predator: Requiem is a huge improvement in the gore-and-guns department.
For all you Blu-ray fans you will be able to watch Aliens Vs Predator: Requiem when it is released on May 12th on Two Disc Blu-ray. The movie starts where the previous movie finished, we see the hybrid Alien hatch and then manages to crash the Predator ship that it is on back down to earth. The ship lands in the unfortunate town of Colorado, which is when the fun begins.
The human inhabitants of the town are slowly killed, and then a Predator warrior arrives to do battle with the Alien-Predator hybrid or Predalien that fans have nicknamed it. Do not expect much from the actors, but it is not the actors that we are interested about it is just that age old battle between good and evil, oh hold sorry they are both evil but who will you be routing for. Predator all the way people.
Some people might not like AVP Requiem when it comes to the part in the movie where the Aliens head to the pregnancy unit in the hospital, those that have watched the film will know what I mean.
Aliens Vs Predator: Requiem is directed by Colin Strause & Greg Strause and has a Certificate of 15 years and over. The movie has a running time of just 94 minutes.
