Les Dennis and Claire Nicholson have welcomed their baby daughter who they have named Eleanor Grace at 4.30am this morning and she weighed in at 8lb 11oz.
Claire gave birth to their first child at a London hospital. Baby Eleanor Grace has been given the original surname of Les who was born Leslie Dennis Heseltine.
Dennis who is 53 already has a 28-year-old son Philip from his marriage to first wife Lynn. Eleanor is the first child for Claire who is 37.
Les and Claire said that “We’re really thrilled. This is a dream come true. We’re ecstatic.” A spokeswoman for Les and Claire said that “Mother and baby are both fine.”
Dennis met Clarie at a charity ball two-and-a-half years ago. Les is currently on paternity leave until June so that he can spend come quality time with his daughter. Les will then go and rejoin the cast of the touring musical Eurobeat.
Amanda Holden Les Dennis announced their separation in December 2002 after seven years of marriage. Their divorce was finalised a year later in 2003, this now leaves the path open for Les and Claire to get married. Guess we will have to wait and see, let’s hope we don’t have to wait to long?
