If Tom Cruise was not already proud of his son Conner he will be soon as it is being reported that the 13-year-old will be playing a young Will Smith in new movie Seven Pounds, which is Smith’s new drama. The new Movie Seven Pounds is due for release sometime in December, however Connor Cruise will not have a talking part though, as he will just appear in some photographs as the young Will Smith.
The new movie is to be directed by Gabriele Muccino who worked with Smith in the movie The Pursuit of Happyness where we saw Will Smith’s son Jaden Smith star as his son in the movie, and he played the part well so one up on Tom Cruise’s son then.
Seven Pounds is a story of a man who will change the lives of seven people, the movie promises to be an emotional ride much like The Pursuit of Happyness. The new movie will have a few great stars such as Barry Pepper, Rosario Dawson and the brilliant Woody Harrelson and the man himself Will Smith.
Will Smith will have just more than an acting role, as his Overbrook Entertainment company are co-producing along with Escape Artists.
Will Smith is a very busy man of late as his new movie Hancock will be released just a few months before Seven Pounds.
