Pirates of The Caribbean star Orlando Bloom meets girlfriend’s dad

Pirates of The Caribbean star Orlando Bloom has just met the other man in his girlfriend Miranda Kerr’s life for the first time at that was her dad John and by the sounds of things it went well.

Miranda’s family had lunch with Orlando and Miranda at the Hollywood beau at Catalina’s restaurant at Rose Bay and is seems that Orlando clearly felt at home with her family.

Orlando and Miranda are expected to make their first official public appearance together at today’s David Jones AJC Doncaster Derby so expect to see lots of pictures popping up everywhere soon because as we know as soon as a new couple comes on the seen the press are all over it.

While the pair will be the toast of trackside action, they’ll have some competition for the spotlight, with local glamour couple Lara Bingle and Michael Clarke invited to the rival Emirates marquee.

In other news Miranda has returned to Australia for a brief visit for a work engagement, with Orlando in tow, she told fashion journalist Jen Melocco that “I’m really happy he is here with me. Because we have such a busy schedule, we really try and spend as much time as possible together,”
