On Thursday night Carrie Underwood broke down in tears while onstage performing a song that was inspired by her mother in Atlanta, Georgia. It’s said that Carrie started crying during a rendition of Don’t Forget to Remember Me, on the latest leg of her tour supporting Keith Urban.
A representative for Carrie said that the song was written for her mother, and about her leaving home. Lyrics were “Hey Momma … tell Me-maw that I miss her/ Yeah, I should give her a call/ and make sure you tell Daddy that I’m still his little girl“.You can see a clip of the song below
Carrie is said to have recovered from her tears and finished the concert which went down very well.
In other news Carrie Underwood is preparing for her induction into the Grand Ole Opry in Nashville. Carrie is due to receive one of country music’s highest honours on the 10th May.
Carrie has come a long way since American Idol and I am sure she has many more years a head of her.

awww!!! when i heard about that carrie forgot the lyrics i just wanted to cry because i know how much that song means to her and even though it didn’t happen to me it fits me too in ways. i love you carrie so much. so but at least she went on and stuff. i know if i was here i would of cried too..
