
With all the hype over High School Musical 1, 2, 3 and 4 on the way Disney-owned ABC has decided to bring the phenomenon to the masses of people who do not have cable.
It’s reported that Nick Lachey has been signed to host the reality show style network version which will be titled High School Musical: Summer Session and it will premiere on the 20th June.
Open castings are taking place right now. Two open casting calls will be held to help narrow the field of applicants, one casting will be held in Southern California at the Long Beach Arena in Long Beach, California on the 27th April and the other one will be at the Champion Stadium in Disney’s Wide World Sports Complex in Orlando, Florida on the 7th May. Anyone between the ages of 16 and 22 can give it ago.
In addition to the open calls the casting scouts from High School Musical: Summer Session are travelling the country looking for people who they think deserve a chance to try out for this new reality series.
So what are you waiting for this is a great opportunity for many High School Musical Fans out there.
