National Treasure 2: Book Of Secrets is much like the first film in the way that it gets your mind thinking as it digs deep into things that we wish we knew about. Nicolas Cage is back as Ben Gates and is now out on a new mission to try and find the lost 18 pages from the diary of Abraham Lincoln’s assassin, John Wilkes Booth.
However; one of these pages has now been discovered by Jeb Wilkinson played by Ed Harris, this page actually contains the name of the assassination conspirators. Ben has now learned that his grandfather’s name appears on the list and is in a fight against time to try and clear his family’s name. The journey then leads Ben to the President’s Book Of Secrets.
National Treasure 2: Book Of Secrets is not like many sequels as this second movie out-performs the first one, as you would expect we follow Gates on his adventure as he follows one clue after another from London to Paris to New York. National Treasure 2: Book Of Secrets is not going to be the adventure that you will ever see however; it will wet your appetite until the new Indiana Jones movie hits the big screen.
The movie stars Diane Kruger, Ed Harris, Harvey Keitel, Helen Mirren, Jon Voight, and also Nicolas Cage. The movie has a Certificate PG.
