Jamie Lee Curtis ha defended Miley Cyrus Photo Shoot and has said that Miley should have been better “protected” during the photo shoot with U.S. magazine Vanity Fair.
The photo shoot featured Miley who is just 15 years old wearing nothing but what looked to be a silk bed sheet. This as you can image has caused a massive outrage across America.
Jamie said that she sympathises with Miley as she too was caught up in a topless photo scandal earlier this year. Jamie appeared on the cover of Aarp magazine wearing a strapless dress, but when she saw the end shot it had been digitally altered to make her look semi-naked.
Jamie said that if a mature woman like her can be manipulated by a magazine then more protection should be in place to look after vulnerable young stars like Miley.
Jamie said that “I too was a little embarrassed by my recent topless ’scandal’ and the subsequent parodies. But I am an adult. I protected myself during the shoot and I can take the heat. I only wish that her guardians had protected her. She is a young girl. She shouldn’t have to deal with any of this. I know the integrity of Ms. Leibovitz and the magazine and I know there were people present at the shoot that should have been looking out to make sure that this didn’t happen“.

This is ridicolous, leave the poor girl alone, you bunch of prudes! She didn’t do anything wrong, nudity is not wrong and Annie Liebovitz is a renown artist. The picture is nice and the bare back was no big deal. It’s sad to see that in the U.S. the bible-thumping “moral majority” has taken over the media. I cannot believe all this fuss over nothing! Miley has her own life and she should live it the way she wants and all those enraged parents should explain to their “tramatized” children that Hannah Montana is NOT a real person, just like Santa Claus.
