
Grammy-nominated recording artist Natasha Bedingfield is set to Open the Greenville Hospital System’s Freedom Weekend Aloft Concert which is going to be held at the Simpsonville’s Heritage Park on the 24th and 26th May.
Natasha is the third headliner for the festival and will take to the Heritage Park amphitheater stage at around 8 p.m on the 25th May. The other two headliners are
Huey Lewis and The News.
Cindy Nelson who is the associate director of Freedom Weekend Aloft, said that one ticket gets visitors in to see both Bedingfield and Huey Lewis and The News.
The festival begins at 10 a.m. every day with free concerts on smaller stages, nightly 6 p.m. balloon flights and festival food available throughout the day. The Gates will open at 6 p.m. for the 8 p.m. concert start.
Local restaurants will be setting up booths at the festival and within the amphitheatre gates.
All Proceeds from FWA will go to support GHS’s Every Woman programs and Safe Kids Upstate.
Tickets can be purchased through www.ticketmaster.com.
Discounted tickets for Gold Circle general admission and lawn general admission will be available until the 15th May.
