When people report on the New Kids On The Block it is as if we have taken a step back in time to the early 90’s, but sure enough we are in 2008 and the Boy’s or men have now given a release date for their new single “Summertime.” The new single will be available from May 13 from iTunes as a digital download as well as other digital download sites. The band is also in the process of planning their new tour which will hit Chicago, Jersey, Montreal, Providence and Toronto.
The New Kids on the Block reunion tour is being produced by Live Nation, a full list of the show dates and the venues is available from nkotb.com, with tickets being available for sale from May 10th.
For those of you who would like to know what the band will sound like live before purchasing a concert ticket, you will be able to see NKOTB perform for the first time in fifthteen years on the NBC’s ‘TODAY’ Show on May 16. I just do not know if I can look at this band in the same way, but they must be hoping to repeat the success as British boy band Take That has had since reforming. The thing is Take That has been nothing else but a boyband, but let’s take Donnie Wahlberg as an example, he has played some parts in some major movies how can we look at him as a member of a boyband again.
I’m so happy NKOTB are back! I agree about Donnie…it’s hard to see him as a boyband member, now, but that’s not really a bad thing.

I just finished listening to that young singer Nasri on MYSPACE and his music is so great. He is actually behind the NKOTB comeback. He wrote the song “ click click click ” and co-wrote “ summertime ” with Donnie. He also is working on some other songs with the group according to the NKOTB website. Here’s the link I found.

You can’t compare these guys to Take That. New Kids On The Block are in a leauge of their own. I love their new song. I can’t wait for it to be released to the UK. Lets see those UK dates released!!.

Donnie was always and will always be a boyband member even tough he did excellent jobs on his movies and tv shows.
Donnie the New Kid is so different from Donnie the actor! Now he´s again what he has always been - and no other role suits him better than beeing head of the New Kids!
I´m so glad to recognize the old Donnie who I missed so hard all those years…
And I say this as a diehard Jordan-Fan…

are fans going up to oxfored street hmv for 8/9/8 , as want to go but want to know if some girls are too, not a brave a went in my teens . ie would have just show up! if so are u all going to meet up 1st ie like at main station. od does any know sarah who won the com on capital last nite , am the maddy who was up for prize too and i want to wish her all the best and i hope its all she hope for? can not belive i mess up that the qiusetion went didt nk break up but why would i want to rember that it was too sad. the tie break was a joke in a way glad we both got wrong but sarah was close that me . big hugs to all fans esp london girls maddy
