Mark Ronson sacks Amy Winehouse for singing new James Bond Theme

Amy Winehouse will no longer be singing the theme song to the new James Bond Quantum of Solace movie, as Mark Ronson has decided to pull the plug on the project. Ronson decided to end the recording sessions as she was showing some very erratic behavior and the producer became infuriated with her.

She was coming in to the studio to record the 007 theme as a complete wreck and Ronson seemed to have had enough of it, Mark said “We did work on it but we never finished it. I don’t think it will happen unless by some miracle it gets recorded and someone sings on it. I’m not sure Amy is ready to work on music yet.”

Troubled Winehouse and Ronson started working on the new Bond Theme last month where they hit the studios in Henley, Oxfordshire however; these soon deteriorated and has caused a bitter bust-up between the once close friends.

It is said that Amy is now very angry with Mark who has helped her career with the great work that he did with her on her last album Back to Black. Some pals are now saying that this could cause a long term rift between the once close friends, one friend said

Amy is upset that Mark, a key figure in her career who masterminded her second album Back To Black, has spoken publicly about their problems. “Mark has always had a really good influence on Amy. He brought out the best in her and cared for her on a personal level,” they also added “On a professional level he seems to be the only person who can get her into the studio. Without him encouraging her we’re worried.”

I think Amy has helped Mark as well. The song ‘Valerie’ made Mark Ronson’s album ‘Version’. I hope Amy pulls it together, she has a perfect voice a James Bond theme. If not Winehouse, Mark should consider Duffy or Christina Aguilera.
