For all you fans of the band Nine Inch Nails they have a great gift for all of their fans, their new album The Slip is available as a free download. With the album Trent Reznor sends all of his fans a message which reads “Thank you for your continued and loyal support over the years — this one’s on me.” There is a range of different file formats to download lossless (FLAC or Apple), MP3 or 24-bit, 96-kHz WAV files which is far better quality than that of a CD.
For those of you who still like to have a hard copy of Nine Inch Nails The Slip album then the CD will be available to purchase in July. For those of you who are interested in this album you can get it today. The Slip is different to the bands previous albums; The Slip is more song-oriented as past albums have been more instrumental abstraction. NIN has also posted on his site “We encourage you to remix it, share it with your friends, post it on your blog, play it on your podcast, give it to strangers, etc.”
If you want the MP3 version then this is available as a direct download from a server however; with the larger a better quality lossless and high-resolution, this will be available as a torrent download. All versions of the album come with a PDF album cover which is downloadable; this lists all tracks on the album.
