Zac Efron, Vanessa Hudgens and Kenny Ortega meet over High School Musical 3

Movie director Kenny Ortega has announced during a press conference the start of the filming at East High School. On Saturday the filming for the third “High School Musical” will take place in Salt Lake City
Some of the main stars of High School Musical’s cast and some of the crew sat in a room full of entertainment reporters from around the country to mark the beginning of shooting on the third film, High School Musical 3: Senior Year.

The movie will hit our screens on the 24th October. The crew is expected to take about 40 days to shoot the film.

It’s said that in the third and final instalment for this cast teen sweethearts Troy and Gabriella must figure out the future of their relationship as each graduates and moves on to different colleges.
The first “High School Musical,” that debuted in 2006, was filmed at East High as well as Murray High School. “High School Musical 2” was filmed mostly at a country club in St. George.

When Zac was asked about coming back to the state for a third time he said that “I couldn’t imagine filming anywhere else. We’ve done the first and second one here, and it brings back so many memories,” Vanessa said that “Just being here feels like home - being back here with everyone, it’s amazing.”

Now we can all look forward to High School Musical 3 in October but what about High School Musical 4 which has been said will not include Zac Efron and Vanessa Hudgens will the film be the same with out them?
