Jenna Bush to marry Henry Hager on Saturday: Barbara Bush maid of honor

Jenna Bush is all set to marry Henry Hager this Saturday with her twin Barbara Bush ready to take on the role as maid of honor. This day has come by quick, most of us did not even know the actual date of the wedding and it seems as if the First daughter was one of the last to know.

Hager decided to go and see her father, President George W Bush and First Lady Laura to ask for their daughter’s hand in marriage. Jenna’s parents then had to keep this secret; hey we know how great George is at keeping secrets. The time finally came for Henry to ask Jenna, so one morning the couple went hiking on Cadillac Mountain in Acadia National Park in Maine. When they reached the peak that was when Hager asked Jenna to marry him.

As you would expect the wedding is to be a private affair, but The White House has allowed a little detail to come out. The ceremony will be held at the family’s ranch in Crawford, Texas. There will be 200 friends and relatives at the outdoor ceremony which will feature a dinner and dance.

Bride Laura had hoped that she would be able to marry Henry at The White House, but she did say that as she was raised in Texas having the wedding at The White just would not be her style.
