Last night on American Idol was result time and Maroon 5 livened the night up with their performance. Last night the remaining 4 contestants scored nearly 51 million votes. The Top three had less than one million votes between them.
Of course when the results came in we all knew that David Archuleta was of course safe and David Cook is also in the final, so let the battle of the two David’s take place. We have all been saying that it will be the two David’s that will be in the final right from the start.
So the bottom two were Syesha Mercado and Jason Castro who came out together to hear the results, Ryan announces that it is Jason who is going home. Jason said that doing two songs a week was a real challenge and he was really stressing over three for next week. It’s said that he was happy and ready to end this chapter of his life and see what the future brings.

In which order will they leave the show next week I think that it is any ones game at the moment but I think that David Archuleta has the edge.
